Caring for Your GRWM Robe

Your GRWM robe is designed to be worn daily—through slow mornings, quiet resets, and everything in between. With thoughtful care, it will soften over time while maintaining its structure and integrity.

Fabric Composition

Our robes are crafted from 100% organic waffle cotton, chosen for its breathability, texture, and ability to move with you.

This natural fiber is designed to evolve—becoming softer and more lived-in with each wear and wash.

 Washing Instructions

To preserve the quality and feel of your robe:

• Machine wash cold with like colors

• Use a gentle, mild detergent

• Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals

• Wash on a delicate cycle when possible

Natural fibers respond best to gentle handling—this helps maintain both texture and longevity.

 Drying

• Tumble dry on low heat, or

• Air dry for best results

High heat can cause unnecessary stress to the fibers and increase shrinkage.

 Shrinkage

Because our robes are made from 100% organic cotton, slight shrinkage is expected.

• Anticipate approximately 3–5% shrinkage after the first wash

• This is a natural characteristic of untreated cotton fibers

To minimize shrinkage:

• Wash in cold water

• Avoid high heat when drying

 Treating Stains

For best results, treat stains as soon as possible:

• Gently blot—do not rub

• Apply a mild stain remover or a small amount of detergent directly to the area

• Let sit briefly before washing

For natural solutions:

• A mix of baking soda and water can help lift light stains

• White vinegar may assist with odor or buildup

Avoid aggressive scrubbing, which can disrupt the waffle texture.

Maintaining Softness

Over time, your robe will naturally soften.

To support this:

• Avoid fabric softeners (they can coat fibers)

• Use wool dryer balls if tumble drying

 Storage

To keep your robe in its best condition:

• Store in a cool, dry space

• Fold or hang with care

• Avoid overcrowding to preserve shape and texture

For longer-term storage:

• Ensure the robe is fully clean and dry

• Store in a breathable fabric bag (not plastic)
